Office of ACUMEN Int. Corp. in Germany is one of the first offices the company opened in the international world market for security. While initially the office was caring more of an administrative role; today it operates as a full-fledged point of sales. In light of that ACUMEN Int. Corp. took part in one of the oldest industrial exhibitions Germany - «Security Essen-2008», which first took place in 1974.
Since then the exhibition brings top security professionals to Essen every two years. Many innovations in security industry first saw light at «Security Essen» exhibition. Exhibitors display everything from well known and established in the industry equipment as well as the technology of tomorrow. The scale of the exhibition is impressive - this year «Security Essen» was visited by more than 40 thousand people from over 70 countries and the number of exhibitors grew to well over 1000 companies.
The exhibition took place from 7th to 10th of October in Essen. It is noteworthy that in conservative German market newcomers are rarely welcomed, but the equipment Acumen displayed at the show was very well received and the interest is growing. As an illustration of this fact attendees of «Security Essen» bought all of the exhibition samples of new DVRs, dome and high-speed mini-cameras in just first two days. A number of dealer contracts were signed on the show as well.
